Please Read Before Your Stay

We have a few simple rules to help everyone enjoy a safe and peaceful visit.

Compliance with Park Rules

By making a booking and staying at Park Foot, you agree to follow these rules and any reasonable instructions given by Park Foot management or staff.

If you are unable or unwilling to comply with these rules, please do not book or stay at Park Foot.

Failure to follow the park rules, or refusal to follow a reasonable instruction from management or staff, may result in you being asked to leave the park without refund.

We reserve the right to take action where necessary to protect the safety, security, comfort and enjoyment of other guests, staff and the park environment.

Bookings & Guests

• We are a family park and accept families and couples only.
• Group bookings are not accepted.
  • A group is classed as more than two families or more than two couples.
  • Booking separately and pitching together as a group is not permitted.

Arrival & Departure

• Check-in: 12 noon – 8pm
• Check-out: By 11am

Quiet Hours & Behaviour

• Quiet hours: 11pm – 8am (no noise permitted).
• Anyone causing excessive noise, or otherwise failing to follow our park rules, may be asked to leave without refund.
• Noise complaints must be reported during your stay by calling 017684 86309 when the office is closed.
• Children must be supervised and must not cause nuisance or danger to others.
• Unruly or aggressive behaviour will result in being asked to leave.

Vehicles & Speed

• Vehicles must remain parked on your pitch during your stay.
• Do not use vehicles to travel to toilets, showers, shop, or restaurant.
• Commercial vans are permitted within reason, however flatbed tippers are not allowed.
• Speed limit: 10mph
• Drivers must hold a full driving licence.
• The Highway Code applies on site.

Pitch Safety

• Maintain 6 metres distance from neighbouring units.
• Generators are not permitted at any time.

Fire, BBQs & Fire Pits

• Open fires are not allowed.
• Disposable BBQs are temporarily prohibited anywhere on Park Foot due to the current exceptionally dry conditions and increased risk of wildfire. This restriction will be reviewed as conditions improve.
• Portable BBQs are permitted on stands only, subject to the above restriction.
• Fire pits must:
  • Be kept 3m from your unit and 6m from neighbours
  • Be raised off the ground
  • Not burn or damage the grass
  • Burn hardwood only
  • Use no paper or cardboard
  • Be fully extinguished before 11pm
  • Have smoke directed away from neighbours
• Gas bottles and BBQs must never be used inside tents or awnings.

Prohibited Items & Activities

The following are not allowed on the park:

• Electric scooters or similar vehicles
  (including balance bikes, mini motos, off-road bikes, or uninsured motorised vehicles)
• Firearms, offensive weapons, or fireworks
• Sky lanterns
• Generators
• Swings not to be erected
• Drones without prior permission
• Jet skis (launching or storage)
• Unlawful drugs or criminal activity

Dogs

Dogs are welcome, but must:

• Use the designated exercise area
• Be kept under control and on a lead at all times
• Be cleaned up after
• Not be left unattended
• Be removed if they cause nuisance or danger

Alcohol

Alcohol may be consumed:

• On your pitch, or
• In TJ’s
  Please do not walk around the park with open cans, bottles, or glasses.

Electric Vehicles

• Charging EVs from pitch hook-ups is strictly prohibited.
• Two public EV chargers are available below reception.

Respect for Nature

• Do not damage trees, shrubs, or wildlife.

Complaints & Refunds

• Any issues must be reported during your stay.
• Complaints made after departure cannot be pursued.
• Refunds are not given due to weather or early departure.
• Please only book the nights you intend to stay.

Liability & Management Rights

• The company may withdraw services or cancel bookings if necessary. Any payments made will be refunded in such cases.
• The company is not responsible for accidents, loss, or damage to personal property.

Final Note

Please read these rules carefully before booking. If these rules are not suitable for you, please do not book with us.

We want everyone to enjoy their stay, and following the park rules helps us maintain a safe, peaceful and enjoyable environment for all our guests.

Jetty & Lake access rules:

• Strictly no mooring of boats to the jetty. (waiting time maximum 15 minutes)
• Please keep launching area on left clear at all times
• No BBQ’s on the jetty
• No alcohol on the jetty
• Jetty will be slippery when wet
• Danger deep water (children to be supervised at all times)
• No diving or jumping off the jetty
• Be aware of swimmers
• Lake speed limit 10mph (enforced by lake warden)
• CCTV in operation
• Do not use when the water level is high
• No life guard on duty
• No jet ski’s
• Jetty and lake access is used at your own risk
